Hotel We Use - The Waterfront Hotel Kuching

Default hotel in the package is The Waterfront Hotel Kuching. If you have other preferred hotel to stay, please feel free to let us know. We will provide quotation based on the hotel and room type you choose.


Day 1: Singapore - Kuching

  • Pick up from Kuching International Airport at your arrival time (suggest to fly in before 3pm, recommend AK1776, MH642)
  • Depart to the award-winning Sarawak Cultural Village. This is a unique “living museum” on a sprawling 17-acre site. It has 7 representative ethnic houses with natives residing and making handicrafts. Get an exclusive walk-through of their day-to-day lives and tradition
  • Watch the cultural performances and the village theatre at 4pm
  • Have dinner at local restaurant
  • Check into The Waterfront Hotel Kuching (if this hotel is not available, we will use another same standard hotel)

Day 2: Fairy & Wind Caves - Semenggoh Wildlife Center

  • Enjoy breakfast at hotel
  • Pick up from hotel at 9am
  • Drive to Bau area onwards to the Fairy and Wind Caves. This is a 1-1.5 hour scenic countryside journey
  • As the name suggests, get whisked into the ethereal fairytale world of the Fairy Caves and marvel at stunning limestone formations of stalactites and stalagmites and beautiful montane vegetation to complete the aesthetics. Further exploration of the Fairy Caves will showcase a number of shrines and altars by Taoist Chinese with strong beliefs of their local folklore, regularly making their offerings (please note that Fairy Caves is CLOSED on every Monday)
  • After the Fairy Caves, you’ll be guided over to the Wind Caves, named after the constant cool breeze circulating the cave, to continue your cave exploration (please note that Wind Caves is CLOSED on every Tuesday)
  • Have lunch at local restaurant
  • Head to the Semenggoh Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre after lunch. Here you will get the opportunity to observe our distant cousin – the Orang Utan as they frolic in their natural habitat and come out of the forest during feeding time from a safe distance
  • Have dinner at local restaurant
  • Back to hotel and rest

Day 3: Kuching City Day Tour

  • Enjoy breakfast at hotel
  • Pick up from hotel at 9am and take you around the city’s must-visit locations
  • 1st stop is the famous mascot of Kuching at Padungan, aptly represented by a gigantic cat statue
  • 2nd stop is the Tua Pek Kong Temple, this is one of the oldest temples in Sarawak, you can explore Chinatown after that
  • At the heart of the city, you will reach the 3rd stop – passing by unique visuals such as traditional Malay homes built on stilts, the majestic Astana (once home to the White Rajah and currently utilised as the official residence of the Governor of Sarawak), the old Colonial Law Courthouse of Sarawak, the Clock Tower (a granite obelisk constructed in memory of Rajah Charles Brooke), and the iconic Kuching Pink Mosque
  • Have lunch at local restaurant. Don’t forget to try some hot coffee & local steam bun, famous Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Noodles
  • The last stop is Borneo Cultures Museum, a modern five storey building with a distinctive architectural design that reflects Sarawak’s unique traditional crafts and rich cultural heritage. This is the second largest museum in Southeast Asia and opened in 2022. You can learn and explore Sarawak’s unique history here
  • Have dinner at local restaurant
  • Back to hotel and rest

Day 4: Kuching City Day Tour

  • Enjoy breakfast at hotel
  • Pick up from hotel at around 9am
  • Visit Medan Niaga Satok, the most famous market for both locals and tourists. You can find many unique fruits and vegetables here, and also the goods like handicrafts, forest produce (including delicious wild honey), pets of all descriptions, orchid plants, live fish, and a whole range of local snacks and delicacies (the market only opens on weekends, if your travel date is on weekdays, we will skip this place)
  • Check out from hotel by 12pm
  • You can have lunch at Topspot Seafood, a must visit food court in Kuching.
  • Visit Main Bazaar, the oldest street in  the city and the heart of old Kuching. It has some superb examples of Chinese shophouse architecture. Kuching’s highest concentration of antique and handicraft shops are to be found here, and shoppers can rest between bargaining sessions in a number of old-fashioned coffee shops with panelled walls and marble-topped tables
  • Located just behind the back street, the Carpenter Street has a similar selection of small traders and coffee shops, as well as food stalls and two Chinese temples.  Having a rich cultural heritage, with a historical building, this street is a venue for the Mooncake Festival every year
  • Drop off at Kuching International Airport to catch your flight back to Singapore  (suggest to fly out in the late afternoon or night, recommend AK1771, TR431)
